Japanese film festival returns to An Táin arts center in Dundalk

The hugely popular Japanese Film Festival returns to An Táin Arts Center on Saturday, April 23!

Looking for DoReMi | 2:30 p.m.

Tickets €7 each | Two films at €12 | All three films for €16 (plus €1.50 booking fee per ticket). The story follows three adult women from the generation who grew up watching the anime “Ojamajo Doremi”. A magical new story begins once they embark on a journey together.

Summer Ghost + Making of Documentary | 5:00 p.m.

Pompo the cinephile | 8 p.m. | Certificate: 13+

Tickets €7 each | Two films at €12 | All three films for €16 (plus €1.50 reservation fee per ticket) Pompo, a film producer, shot one B-grade entertainment film after another that everyone would enjoy. However, when her assistant spots a script and is moved by the story, she tells him to direct it.

The 2022 Japanese Film Festival takes place at An Táin Arts Center on Saturday, April 23, with “Looking for Magical DoReMi” at 2:30 p.m., “Summer Ghost + Making of Documentary” at 5 p.m., and “Pompo the Cinephile” at 8 p.m.
