‘Rashtra Kavach Om’ Records Lackluster Opening, Japanese Film ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Advances with Rs 1.75 Crore on Day 1 | Hindi Movie News

Aditya Roy Kapur’s action-packed avatar in “Rashtra Kavach Om” found few takers at the box office. The movie had a low opening of around 5% on Friday, which means the weekend ahead could be tough. While ‘Rashtra Kavach Om’ is full of action, it seems audiences are not ready to see Aditya Roy Kapur in such an avatar.

Interestingly, the Japanese anime movie “Jujutsu Kaisen”, released on Wednesday, found a massive response at the Indian box office. The film earned around Rs 1.50 to 1.75 crore nett. With this collection, he managed to beat the animated film ‘Minions’. The collection of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ dropped on Friday, but its opening hints the film is going to have a strong run at the box office.

On the other hand, “Jugjugg Jeeyo” continued its positive run at the box office. The film saw a slight drop in collection on Friday morning, but should make up for the same in afternoon and upcoming shows.

Commenting on the box office performance of ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’, Varun recently told ETimes, “The box office numbers are very big and everyone is trying to get back to normal. The times we are in right now , the kind of love ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ is getting, the kind of response it’s getting around the world, is amazing, the box office is also happening and we’re getting so much love from people.
