Ukrainian first lady Olena Zelenska wears a kimono jacket for Japanese TV
Zelenska gave an extensive interview on Japanese television, during which she spoke about life in Ukraine after five months of full-scale Russian invasion.
Zelenska could not hold back tears when asked about her speech to the US Congress and the death of Lisa, a four-year-old girl killed in a missile attack on the town of Vinnytsia in central Ukraine.

For the interview, Olena Zelenska chose a blue woolen trouser suit from the fall-winter 2022 collection of the Ukrainian brand Bobkova. The collection was inspired by Serbian artist Marina Abramović.
“Our first lady, Olena Zelenska, is today a model of freedom and resilience for women around the world,” designer Kristina Bobkova told nv.ua. “The costume we created for her speaks both of the femininity and strength of its owner. It is no coincidence that the kimono jacket and the straight pants are made in sky blue.”
Zelenska also chose to wear a Kristina Bobkova costume for her recent interview with British journalist Piers Morgan.
